The architectural design concept was to create a structure that would grace the heavily wooded and steep sloping site with a Montana Hunting Lodge Style home while capturing the ocean and sunset views of Carmel Bay. The home was designed with hand hewn timber trusses throughout. It has custom designed doors, cabinets, flooring, and accent tiles with “x” pattern as used on the glass and wood entry door.

The interior walls are customized colored thin wall plaster with special corner detail which to match the granite counter top pattern with a faux finish. The interior design and furniture was provided to complete the project design.
